Once known as Duke Ellington’s “classical arm,” Henderson was also Lena Horne’s musical director and the man behind the music of many Broadway shows. Look over her shoulder while she researches and writes “Seeking Harmony” for publication by Scarecrow Press.

Devra recently began work on a memoir. Still in the planning stages, she plans to have the proposal in her agent’s hands by year-end.

The project that was to have been underway, has moved to the back-burner for the time being. “Neighborhood Narratives” — a series of short true-stories that take place close to home. Devra has long been compiling a file of article ideas about the quirky people and places in her vicinity and she’s looking forward to sharing them with you when he picks this idea back up next year.
